What I Offer

Caregiver Support Sessions

Navigating youth systems can be extremely challenging. Caregivers are managing so many aspects of their child’s life in and out of the home, including family, education, mental health, activities, and social relationships. Simultaneously, they are balancing their own needs and schedules within all the chaos.

Caregiver support sessions are focused on the needs of the caregiver. Sessions can be as needed or on-going. Some examples of areas that we can explore are:

  • Better understanding the child and adolescent mental health system, levels of care, and available resources

  • Navigating the education system and what caregivers should know about 504 plans, IEP’s, and specialized settings

  • Individual therapy sessions

  • Access to parent support or skill building groups

  • Referrals to appropriate resources (for you or your child)
