Parent Management Training

Whether it’s tantrums, ignoring instruction, or talking back, conflict between caregivers and their child can be overwhelming.  For children that are more overtly oppositional, defiant, and aggressive,  it can feel next to impossible to manage their behaviors. Parent Management Training (PMT), also known as behavior management training, works with caregivers to give them the tools and skills they need to limit their child’s adverse behaviors. PMT utilizes behavior modification to decrease the likelihood that an adverse behavior will occur, and increase your child’s ability to translate these skills into successful outcomes. I provide PMT to caregivers with children ages 5-11.
